Trusted Experience. Proven Success. Unmatched Service.

Easter always brings a feeling of HOPE for

me. It is said that a hope deferred makes the

heart sick, but a longing fulfilled is a tree of

life. I would encourage you to take someti

me and think about a HOPE you may have

been deferring. Is there anything you can do

to fulfill that longing? Sometimes the first

step is to simply acknowledge its existence. I

pray each of you find some time this month

to check in with yourself and acknowledge a

HOPE you may have been deferring and

maybe take the first step in its fulfillment!

Legally Speaking…

Uninsured and Underinsured Motorist Coverage When does it Apply?

Uninsured Motorist or Underinsured Motorist coverage (also called UM coverage) is insurance that you purchase under your own policy. It applies when the party at-fault either has no bodily injury coverage, or has very low bodily injury coverage, and your injuries exceed their coverage.

Bodily injury coverage is the insurance that you can recover from the at fault party for your pain and suffering, out of pocket expenses, and outstanding medical bills or lost wages. Bodily injury is not mandatory coverage and drivers oftentimes do not purchase it or select coverage that is very low, such as a $10,000 policy. Therefore, to protect yourself, UM is very important coverage.

Let's say you are in a car accident and your injuries require surgery:

Example 1:

The at-fault driver has no bodily injury coverage. However, you have UM coverage, therefore, you can make a claim under your UM policy to cover your expenses and pain and suffering.

Example 2:

The at-fault driver only has $10,000 in bodily injury coverage. If your injuries and damages exceed the available bodily injury coverage, you can then make both the bodily injury policy recovery and make a claim against your UM coverage ensuring all your expenses are covered.

Example 3:

The at-fault driver has no bodily injury coverage and you do not have UM coverage; you will not be able to make a recovery unless the at-fault driver has extensive personal assets. Claims are typically not brought against a person directly.

In a pan, layer the bottom with chocolate chips, completely covering bottom. Evenly distribute spoonfuls of peanut butter over the chocolate chips; tamper the peanut butter down if necessary. Arrange peeps all over the top of the dish.

Heat at 350 degrees until the chocolate is melted, about 5 to 10 minutes. Your peeps should toast and expand a little. Do not let your peeps burn.

Separate graham cracker sections and use the pieces to dip into the Smore’s mixture.
