Trusted Experience. Proven Success. Unmatched Service
Happy Halloween! I have such fond memories of taking my kiddos to trick or treat and enjoying the sheer excitement of this time. Enjoy and be safe! It is also the beginning of Thanksgiving holiday which is my FAVORITE holiday. It’s funny because as a Dominican, we did not celebrate Thanksgiving until we moved to the US. So, our first Thanksgiving included rice, beans, roasted pork and plantains. We now do a hybrid menu and it brings me sheer joy! As we enter this season of thanks, I intend to focus on GRATITUDE. I am grateful for our clients and their confidence in our team. I am thankful for my team and their dedication to our clients. I am appreciative of our community and the way folks have rallied to support our brothers and sisters in different parts of the State who suffered losses due to the recent storms. My prayer for all of you is that even in the face of chaos and instability, gratitude can be our main focus.

Breast Cancer Awareness
Early Detection is Crucial
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month—a time dedicated to promoting screening, encouraging healthy lifestyles, supporting those affected, and honoring survivors. It is also a moment to remember loved ones lost to breast cancer. This month, we urge both men and women to prioritize early detection, which is crucial for successful treatment and potential cure.
Join us in supporting this vital cause at Making Strides of Brevard, presented by Health First Cancer Institute, on Saturday, October 26, 2024. The event will take place at The Avenue Viera in Melbourne, Florida (2261 Town Center Ave). Your participation can make a difference.

Florida's Plan to Lighten the Load on Citizens Property Insurance
Florida’s state-run insurer, Citizens Property Insurance Corp., is significantly reducing its policy load through a "Depopulation Program," authorized by the Office of Insurance Regulation (OIR) to transfer up to 648,843 policies to 12 private insurers. This move, part of a plan approved in December 2022, aims to ease Citizens’ burden, which has grown to 1.25 million policies due to a rise in coverage ahead of hurricane season. The OIR recently approved the transfer of up to 413,808 policies starting in late October, with additional policies reassigned to various insurers, including American Integrity Insurance Group and Manatee Insurance Exchange. The initiative also includes new legislation allowing out-of-state “A”-rated insurers to take over policies, with state regulators overseeing these transfers. This effort is part of a broader strategy to stabilize Florida’s unstable property insurance market, marked by high-rate hikes, insurer departures, and rising costs.

Food Packing at Children's Hunger Project
Johnson & Montas employees and their families had the privilege of packing meals for elementary school children with The Children’s Hunger Project (CHP). This was a great team building exercise that also gave us a deeper understanding of the needs within our community and how even just one evening of packing food can make a meaningful difference.
CHP provides weekend food for over 4,300 of Brevard County’s most vulnerable elementary school age children each school year.
