Over the next few months we will share about the growth and how it is a full circle moment for me. It has been exciting, scary, wonderful and terrifying.

Hopefully you can look back at this year and appreciate the multifaceted beauty of life. It is exciting, scary, wonderful, terrifying, and sometimes heartbreaking. As the year ends, if your year was heartbreaking, I pray 2025 will usher joy and laughter. If your year was exciting and wonderful, I rejoice in your joy and pray 2025 brings continued abundance. Legally Speaking...

Attention Property Owners!

The holiday season is a time for celebration, but it also comes with unique legal risks, particularly when it comes to premises liability. As a property owner, whether residential or commercial, you have a duty to maintain your property in a reasonable safe condition, regularly inspect for hazards, and warn of any known dangers that are not readily apparent; in other words, use reasonable care to protect your guests from foreseeable harm.

Common Holiday Hazards

Tripping Hazards: Decorations or holiday clutter can create dangerous tripping risks. Ensure that all walkways are clear, well-maintained, and free from obstructions.

Fire and Injury Risks: Poorly secured lights, heavy ornaments, or faulty wiring can lead to injuries or fires. Always inspect decorations, follow manufacturer instructions, and secure them properly.

Liability at Gatherings: If you are hosting a holiday party, you may be held liable for injuries that occur on your property. If alcohol is served, you could also be responsible for harm caused after guests leave. Monitor alcohol consumption, encourage the use of safe transportation options, and promote responsible hosting practices.

Automobile Negligence

Most automobile crashes in the United States are caused by driver error. According to Florida Statue 316.1925, all drivers in the state are required to operate their vehicles in a careful and prudent manner to ensure the safety of themselves and others on the road. Negligent driving goes beyond simply receiving a traffic ticket; it encompasses the risk of causing a severe accident that could result in serious harm to you or others.

If you find yourself involved in an accident caused by a negligent driver, especially involving a commercial vehicle, having the right legal advocates on your side is essential. Montas Turner brings decades of experience to guide you through the often complex legal process.

Pet of the Month:

Meet Gizmo

Gizmo is a happy, vibrant, mischievous, and loving cat who belongs to our Billing Specialist, Nikki Beladino. Gizmo’s story is nothing short of remarkable: Nikki heard a faint cry coming from the hood of her car over a year ago and discovered him in the engine, weighing less than a pound. With plenty of tender love and care, Nikki nursed him back to health, and he’s been living his best life ever since!

We would love to hear about your pet!

If you would like to have your pet highlighted in our newsletter, please send us a photo and a little information about them by clicking the link below. One pet will be featured per quarter.

We can’t wait to meet your pet!
